Tynwald Day 2015
This year's Tynwald Day Barbeque was hosted at Oscars Bar in the Grund, Luxembourg. Although last minute, the change of venue was a thorough success with the usual Barbeque and a great turnout. The weather did its best to behave, with only a few spots of rain towards the end. The Luxembourg Manx Society would like to thank Oscars Bar for being able to accommodate us as such short notice and for providing an excellent setting for our Manx antics!
Quiz Night 2015
Following positive feedback from last year's quiz, the LMS hosted another quiz at Top Squash on Thursday 21st May 2015. Questions were asked on a range of subjects, including Current Affairs, Sport & Geography.
The LMS attracted an excellent turnout, with a number of prizes offered to winning teams and with others raffled off separately. Given the success enjoyed once again, we are hopeful of holding a similar event next year, and look forward to seeing you then!
BlackRock Charity Quiz 2015
On 4th March the Luxembourg Manx Society entered a team for the BlackRock Charity quiz, coming in a tied 1st place! The evening was enjoyed by all and we look forward to a possible repeat event next year!
